When purchasing your training, please also purchase the SPRING into Maths resources as these will be required to be used on the day of your training.
How it works

Click ‘Buy now’ to purchase the SPRING into Maths resources. Once payment is made, a login to access the resources will be sent to you within 24 hours

To purchase the training of your choice from the options below, please email Elizabeth Craker elizabeth.craker@vuw.ac.nz. She will organise a facilitator to contact you about your training. An invoice will be sent to you following your training date being confirmed.

Refresher Training (1.5 hours online)
NZD $350.00 + GST
This training will upskill new and existing staff to confidently deliver SPRING into Maths. The session will include revisiting key ideas within the Support Guide (with emphasis on new materials), locating resources and information related to the alignment of the curriculum and working through the delivery of a lesson. This session will include a Q & A to address feedback and issues that arise for individual schools.
- For schools who have previously delivered the old version of SPRING into Maths.
- A maximum of 6 people can undertake the Refresher Training. This will be delivered online.
RTLB Training (1.5 hours online)
NZD $350.00 + GST
This training will introduce RTLBs to SPRING into Maths and provide information about how to support schools in the effective implementation of SPRING. This will include covering the structure and design of SPRING, unpacking one of the kits and looking at the resources to support the delivery. As part of this training, RTLBs will receive a sample booklet of the SPRING resources.
- For RTLBs wanting to support SPRING into Maths programmes in their schools.
- A maximum of 12 people can undertake the RTLB Training. This will be delivered online.
School Training (half day online or face-to-face)
NZD $800.00 + GST for half day online training – includes a one-hour follow up.
NZD $995.00 + GST for half day face-to-face training.
This training is for schools who are new to using SPRING into Maths. Facilitators will unpack each component of the programme and demonstrate how to deliver a lesson from beginning to end.
- One half-day of training is required for a school who has not previously used SPRING into Maths.
- A maximum of 12 people can undertake the half-day training. Smaller schools can train together with up to 12 participants.
Please note: The face-to-face cost excludes travel and accomodation. These costs will be organised directly between the facilitator and the school.
SPRING into Maths resources
(to be accompanied by the appropriate training option)
NZD $1695 + GST
- A one-off cost giving each school a licence to use SPRING into Maths for 5 years.
- This includes the addition of any new materials that will be added during this time.
